Honey Dijon is a Chicago-born trans woman of colour known for her stratospheric DJing career and fashion line. The multitalented artist has held legendary residencies in New York City and collaborated with fashion director Kim Jones on runway soundtracks for Louis Vuitton and Dior. Her new album, Black Girl Magic, is a celebration of her life, work, and beliefs in which she collaborated with black, queer singers and songwriters who share her views on love, life, resistance, and fighting oppression. From early on Honey has always been drawn to dance music’s uplifting and liberating qualities which she believes are pillars used by queer people to create safe spaces for themselves.
