When he debuted his new techno Live Act in 2020, Salbany instantly became a revelation in electronic dance music. His path started on the dance floor, but quickly was transposed to the studio and the DJ booth, where he showcases an unusual finesse in manipulating and guiding his synthesisers and drum machines towards his main influence: Detroit Techno. The minimalist approach and the repetitive and syncopated rhythms, which he deconstructs into a real-time performance, allow him to operate directly on the crowd, constantly tweaking the groove, ambience and energy with the ability and ease of a seasoned performer.
