Martyna Maja is a rising star in the world of techno and is quickly establishing herself as one of the most vital and uncompromising artists around. With a huge following on social media, she's not afraid to call out misogyny, homophobia and racism in the comments, using her platform to speak out against injustices. A fixture at Berghain, VTSS cuts an imposing figure in the realm of explosive, hard-edged techno, while her productions have moved from disruptive variations of club music towards a more diverse, highly personal strain of electronica. Her recently releases see her evolving her sound even further, allowing her to glide between tempos and energies without losing the bite that is inherent in her music. She's played much-lauded sets across the globe, including b2bs with Objekt at Maiden Voyage festival and Daniel Avery at Glastonbury, as well as a stand-out Boiler Room set at Dekmantel festival. She recently debuted her boundary-pushing new live show at Primavera Sound, closing the biggest dance stage and going b2b with Evian Christ.
